FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to surgery. Two-stage transabdominal ultrasound of the abdominal cavity is conducted. For the purpose of monitoring, the patient is laid on back with a rest pillow underlaid longitudinally and transversally. On the 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th days, a destruction process extent Vu which is equal to a production of a maximum length Au, a maximum width Bu and a maximum depth Cu of erosions and ulcers Vu=Au×Bu×Cu. A systemic inflammatory reaction process extent Vi which is equal to a production of a maximum length Ai, a maximum width Bi and a maximum depth Ci of systemic inflammatory reaction Vb=Ai×Bi×Ci. A quantity index that is a trophic disorder index TDI is found. The TDI is described as a percentage of the destruction process extent Vu to the systemic inflammatory reaction process extent Vi TDI=Vu:Vix100%.
EFFECT: method enables assessing dynamics of trophic and inflammatory changes within a wound of the gastric and intestinal wall following the surgery on pyloroduodenal segment of the gastrointestinal wall on the basis of which it is possible to consider the effectiveness of postoperative anti-ulcerative and anti-inflammatory therapy.
