FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely diagnostic ultrasonic systems. A wireless ultrasound probe applicable with a cable comprises a cable which integrates an array sensor, a data acquisition chart, a receiver-transmitter for visual information signal wireless transmission into a main system, a power supply network, an accumulator, a cable connector accessible from outside of the body, and a visual information signal or excitation potential transmission cable during the use of the probe for imaging. The power supply network uses the accumulator energy for providing the excitation voltage when the cable is disconnected from the connector. The probe is designed so that to set the visual information signals alternatively into the main system either by wireless connection, or by the cable. According to the second version, the cable connector is magnetic, and the cable is connected thereto by magnetic attraction for transmission of at least one of the visual information signals or the excitation potential.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides the wireless and cable probe operation and enables maintaining the hermetic integrity of the wireless probe.
