SUBSTANCE: in the method to control a mode of heating system operation they set a period of control of coolant supply into a heating system, ambient air temperature is measured, as well as flow and temperature of the coolant in a supply manifold, flow rate and temperature of the coolant in a return manifold. Thermal capacity of the heating system in a heated room is calculated, as well as the quantity of consumed thermal energy, and change of thermal capacity of a source of heat is estimated. The coolant is supplied into a heating system is carried out in each period in the form of a pulse, with duration that is less or equal to the period of control of coolant supply into the heating system, the pulse duration is corrected with account of the ratio between the set temperature and actual temperature of air in the heated room, ambient air temperature and change of thermal capacity of a source of heat.
EFFECT: provision of reliability and efficiency of air temperature control in a heated room.
