FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises generating data on target by video system bound to satellite navigation system, transmitting said data to sniper unit control system and processing it by gunner-operator with the help of appropriate software for further transmission of correction parameters to said unit for gunner-operator to accurately hit the target. Note here that initial parameters are loaded for calculation of ballistic corrections into unknown range to target wit subsequent correction in satellite navigation system. Distance to target is determined by equipment with its observing line aligned with gun barrel to correct barrel axis line to target for fire to command of gunner-operator. Said gunner-operator, monitor and fire control unit are located at safe distance in protected place.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of fire.
