FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for helical rolling of tubes and rods. Proposed device comprises two or more driven rolls revolving about lengthwise axis of rolling with their axes inclined to the latter. Note here that inclined axes of rolls extend in those planes along rolled material lengthwise axis located parallel with lengthwise axis of rolled material, nearby it and ad definite distance therefrom. Drive gear fitted on roll shaft via bevel gears engages with sun gear surrounding rolled material lengthwise axis. Note here that drive gear central axis are located in the plane wherein rolled material axis is located. Drive gear engaged with sun gear has inner gearing in hub area engaged with external gearing of the shaft of appropriate roll and located displaced relative to central axis of drive gear so that it is inclined in those planes located parallel with lengthwise axis of rolled material, nearby it and ad definite distance therefrom.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions, higher efficiency.
