FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely reflex therapy. What is declared is the group of inventions involving a method for prolonged exposure on acupuncture points and a reflex therapy needle. The method involves localising the acupuncture points and inserting the reflex therapy needle therein. Before inserting, the needle ends are drawn together. Then, they are tightly pressed to skin within the acupuncture exposure to form a dip. The pointed needle ends are inserted subcutaneously in the different directions. A middle portion of the needle is dropped therefor. The reflex therapy needle comprises the double-edged ends. The needle is designed so that to force the ends to be drawn together. When dropped, the needle ends are reset. Thereby the needle ends are inserted subcutaneously in the different directions horizontally and parallel to patient's skin.
EFFECT: group of inventions reduces labour input of the therapy ensured by higher ease-to-use and simplified needle insertion procedure.
