FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: using the resonance method, the lower inherent frequency of structure oscillations is determined, then the structure is exposed to excessive impact action. Produced data is processed, and high harmonics of inherent oscillations are filtered from low harmonic. On the basis of produced data, actual values of dynamic parameters are decided. After dynamic loading the tested structure is additionally exposed to step-by-step static loading until its total damage, and the value of residual bearing capacity of the structure is determined by difference of the value of the maximum dynamic load at the moment of structure damage and the value of the applied maximum static load. Additionally lengths of the building structure are measured before and after each type of loading, and values of relative deformations are determined, and the coefficient of tested structure robustness extent is determined on the basis of the ratio.
EFFECT: possibility to determine extent of robustness with account of accurate measurement of dynamic load at the moment of building structure damage, residual resource and deformations of a building structure in process of testing.
