FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: machine consists of a load frame formed by a base, a cross-bar and columns, a hydraulic power cylinder in the base of a servohydraulic loading and measuring system, a passive and an active gripper (support), one of which is connected to reference force-measuring means, alternately built into the system, and the other is connected to a force actuator, a control unit, hydraulic and electrical connection lines of units and assemblies of the machine. The reference force-measuring means (RFM) with a maximum upper measurement range is built into the load frame, and the RFM with a minimum lower measurement range is connected through a controlled mechanical support to the rod of a wide-moving hydraulic arresting device connected to the cross-bar of the load frame coaxially with the rod of the controlled mechanical support. In an operating mode with a maximum upper measurement range, the controlled mechanical support is fixed, and the wide-moving arresting device is open. In an operating mode with a minimum lower measurement range, the rod of the controlled arresting device is loose and the controlled mechanical support is fixed.

EFFECT: achieving the required high measurement accuracy as much as possible in a maximally wide loading and measurement range.
