FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of agricultural machinery, particularly to devices for digging sugar beet roots. The tool comprises an active fork. The fork is made in the form of opposite rotating cone-shaped tips. Tips are installed at the angle to the longitudinal-vertical plane of symmetry of the tool. Cylindrical parts of the active fork are equipped with eight root hooks of cylindrical shape. Root hooks are displaced relative to each other by 45°. A tiller is made in the form of a flat knife and has flat rectangular shape of cross section and a sharpened front part. The tiller is connected with a connecting rod, which in its turn is connected with a cam mechanism comprising a cam, a pusher and a stand fixed on the body of the active fork.
