SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an absorbent product (1, 10, 100, 101, 102), such as a sanitary towel, a panty liner or an incontinence product; this product has a longitudinal direction and a transversal direction, a front portion (2), a back portion (4) and a perineal portion (3) between the front portion (2) and the back portion (4). Said product (1, 10, 100, 101, 102) comprises an absorbent element (5, 5') having an upper side (15) which may face a user when in use (1, 10, 100, 101, 102), and a lower side (11) which shall face from the user when in use (1, 10, 100, 101, 102), and a stiffening element (6, 6', 60, 70, 80) shaping the product (1, 10, 100, 101, 102) in the pre-set form when in use. The stiffening element (6, 6', 60, 70, 80) is attached to the lower side (11) of the absorbent element (5, 5') so than an external side (12) of the stiffening element (6, 6', 60, 70, 80) faces the absorbent element (5, 5'). The stiffening element (6, 6', 60, 70, 80) contains a material possessing the properties of mechanical attachment wherein a part of the external side of the stiffening element (6, 6', 60, 70, 80) possess the specified properties of mechanical attachment.

EFFECT: product provides reliable body adhesion ensured by the pre-set form of the product which improves product sit to the user's body and improves an ability to stay up when in use.
