FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: power transmission tower body comprises a casing in the form of a segment of a pyramid surface bent from sheet steel and two fastener assemblies arranged near the tower body and spaced at the distance along the length of the casing for installation of the body onto the cylindrical surface of the pile, the casing comprises seven faces, from the edges of the extreme of which along the body there are sections made as bent towards each other and arranged with edges at the distance from each other and in the cross section of the casing along a generatrix that is parallel to the identical generatrix of the middle face of the casing, from which towards both sides to the sections bent towards each other there are faces stretching, and their planes are coupled at the angles, accordingly, α, β, γ at the inner side of the body, and the sections bent towards each other lie in the plane coupled with the planes adjacent to them by faces at the angle δ at the inner side of the casing, besides, the values of the specified angles are related through the inequation γ>α>β>δ.
EFFECT: efficiency of resistance to twisting and compressing loads arising during operation, and also bending forces applied along different directions with minimum material intensity and manufacturability of design.
