FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: heat generation method involves immersion of a physical body in a water-receiving housing and water displacement out of the housing. Then, the displaced water is passed through the system of local and linear hydraulic resistances with possibility of converting the margin of potential energy of immersed body to heat owing to forming the water movement speed in a narrow and rough channel of more than 15 m/s, and the heat is supplied to a consumer. Heat generation device includes a water tank, a housing in the tank with the immersed body, which is rough and has annular grooves on side surface. Device also includes means for back-and-forth movement of the immersed body.
EFFECT: proposed invention is self-contained, which is achieved due to possible water heating without any external energy sources.
