FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump engineering and can be used in hydro transport and power systems, as well as in water supply. Proposed water lifting device comprises submerged water lifting device body and its drive. Includes housing with suction valve, in which said body is installed with annular clearance for fluid lifting. Submerged body has length more than its diameter, but less than depth of reservoir filling and diameter from 0.5 to 0.95 of housing diameter. Its weight, taking into account weight of liquid column above water, is more than water buoyancy force acting on it during immersion. Submerged body top end additionally comprises rigid perforated disk, on which there is solid disk of deformable material with possibility of deformation or move vertically along axis of symmetry of body.
EFFECT: device makes it possible to lift water with reduced power consumption due to reduction of propellant body length.
