FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has top vented plate consisting of lead plate mount portion of dovetail- or Picatmny- and/or Weaver-type or their type to be fitted on gun vented plate. Proposed device is composed of two symmetric left and right brackets to be mounted on gun vented plate on the left and right by retention screws passing through vented plate inner slots. Outer contour of surfaces of mounted brackets form the contour of mount portion of dovetail- or Picatmny- and/or Weaver-type or their type.
EFFECT: taking aim via standard mechanical sight without removing optical sight.
