FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: reactor-transformer includes a magnetic conductor with a leg and yokes, power winding having outputs and connected to the network, and control winding consisting of several independent sections, each with its controlled key. Compensating winding is split as to height into independent sections and located between power winding and control winding. Power winding consists of two sections with similar radial dimensions and height, which are connected in parallel and located as to height one after another and provided with left and right directions of the winding. Some of its outputs are connected in the middle of the leg height to network input, and the other outputs on the winding edges are connected to neutral input. Sections of control winding have similar radial dimensions and height and located one after another as to height. The following conditions are met: 50%<uSHORT%<100%, 0.2S<SCOMP<0.4S, 0<Δh<0.5h, where uK% - short circuit voltage of controlled reactor at fully activated controlled keys, S - its rated power, SCOMP - compensating winding power, h - overall height of control winding, Δh - axial distance between control winding sections.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities owing to enlarging the control range of reactive power source; reducing the level of non-linear current distortions; improving reliability.
