FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, high voltage adjustable electro-technical complexes, possible use in high voltage electric networks with voltage 110-750 kV for compensation of reactive power and stabilization of voltage.
SUBSTANCE: in static compensator of reactive power, consisting of adjustable inductance, capacitor battery and filters of high harmonics, as adjustable inductance, three-phased reactor controlled by magnetization is utilized, and it is connected directly to high voltage network, filters of fifth and seventh harmonics are connected to contacts of secondary winding of reactor, while capacitor battery is connected to high voltage network with sectioning through switches or to outputs of secondary winding of reactor in parallel to filters.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of adjustment of reactive power in high voltage electric networks, decreased costs of installed equipment and increased reliability of said equipment.
