SUBSTANCE: time slot configuration modes which are supported by terminal multi-slot classes are set; terminal multi-slot classes which support the same time slot configuration modes are grouped into one group. Terminal capacity is encoded on the terminal multi-slot class groups; the corresponding link between terminal capacity codes and time slot configuration modes groups is established; the obtained terminal capacity code is transmitted from the terminal towards a network in which the time slot configuration mode group is determined for the terminal capacity code and time slot resources are allocated for the terminal device. The system and apparatus realise steps of said method.

EFFECT: high efficiency of network communication owing to allocation of time resources based on the determined terminal capacity.
