FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to means and ways of increasing wheel tire bite. At the beginning of motion, skidding or braking, friction force in area of wheel contact with various surfaces is adjusted by varying direction and/or angle of transverse tread belts to retain the tire by rim and tread belts outside said contact area and by varying direction and/or shift in said contact area in crosswise wrap by transverse tread belts by adjusting pressure in tire from high to super low, flat tire.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
