FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: piston engine includes cylinders, double-acting pistons, gas (liquid) supply and discharge distribution mechanisms and a converter converting back-and-forth movement of pistons to rotational movement of primary shaft. Engine is equipped with secondary shaft. Converter represents a radial thrust bearing having several rows of rolling contact bearings and consists of external and internal rings. On outer surface of the external ring there are shells, which are made in the form of hollow cylinders with drain holes, in which slides with piston pins, which transmit and receive movements of pistons, as well as support pins with conic rollers, are located. On end surfaces of the external ring there are conical gear wheels with internal engagement. Vertex of generatrixes of conical rollers, as well as axes of shells and support pins converge at a base centre, through which a central engine axis passes. Internal rings have key slots and rolling contact bearings, where radial thrust movements of some of rolling contact bearings are coaxial to central engine axis passing through the base centre and serve as a support of the whole converter. The other rolling contact bearings serve as a support of the external ring. Cylinders are made in the form of a cylinder block consisting of two similar paired blocks located on a central axis and having cylinders and recesses, in the form of cavities, in which shaped plates are installed. On central axis of each block there located is a sleeve containing rolling contact bearings in the form of bearings separated with a bushing and retaining the secondary shaft, on one end of which there is conical gear wheel being engaged with conical gear wheel of the converter, thus forming a kinematic chain of planetary reduction gear. On inner surface of the conical gear wheel of secondary shaft there is support surface for radial thrust movement of rolling contact bearings of the converter inner ring. On the other end of secondary shaft there is a disc, on the cylindrical surface of which there located are pressure rollers for a pair of outlet and inlet valves of one of the cylinder. Rolling bearings are installed on central axis of each of the discs. Lubrication is implemented by oil spraying by means of back-and-forth movements of conical roller of the converter in one of the recesses. Two similar heads are coaxially fixed on cylinder blocks and have gas (liquid) supply and discharge channels and mechanisms for their distribution, which are fixed through discs with pressure rollers on secondary shaft, and consist of outlet and inlet valves, compression springs, pushers, paired petals per cylinder. Petal rotation axes are installed in bosses fixed on surfaces of heads. On working surface of each petal there is a shaped projection performing the valve opening (closing). In housing of each head, on central axis there is a thrust adjusting billet preventing from axial displacement of internal rings with elimination of plays in rolling contact bearings of the converter.
EFFECT: reduction of weight and overall dimensions.
