FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: records arrays of momentary current and voltage values on all the transformer sides. Using the feeding electric mains current voltage frequency and based on the said arrays, one determines the components of the vectors of positive-, negative- and zero-sequence currents and voltages on all the transformer sides. Magnetising currents vectors are determined based on the data of open-circuit tests with the transformer fed from the high-voltage side with positive-, negative- and zero-sequence (separately), the current transformation ratio value and the windings active impedance. One calculates the phase short-circuit inductive impedance with account for the obtained values and the transformer nameplate data and compares the calculation result to the reference.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of results.
