SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of timber harvesting machines and can be used for sawing logs into boards or timbers at hard-to-reach area. The self-propelled lumber harvester comprises a power unit (1) a motor set (2) which is connected with the universal joint (3) to the drive gearbox (4) of working elements, the cabin (5), the crawler truck (6) with the front (7) and rear (8) carriages with the springs (9). On the frame (10) of the crawler truck a sawmill with a circular saw (11) is mounted with a roller conveyer table (12) with a slot, a support (13), a device (14) for pressing the log (15) to a support, the control unit (16) of mechanism of movement of the table with the slot and the pneumatic system (17) of saw dust removal. The roller conveyor consists of three parts. The roller conveyor middle part (18) is rigidly fixed on the crawler truck frame. The front (19) and the rear (20) roller conveyor parts along the path are hingedly connected to the crawler truck frame. The front and rear roller conveyor parts are equipped with hydraulic cylinders (21) of double action. The hydraulic cylinders are hingedly mounted with one end on the crawler truck frame, and the other - on the front and rear roller conveyers. The power unit has a device (22) to fix the front and rear carriages with springs relative to the crawler truck frame. The device for fixing carriages with springs consists of a screw with a support rigidly connected with each other and a nut with a support. The device simultaneously fixes both carriages with springs - front and rear relative to the crawler truck frame.

EFFECT: reduced time to prepare for work and the plant transportation, the vibration of a circular saw eliminates, and the quality of log sawcut increases.
