FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and glaze compositions for applying on ceramic tiles and bricks. The glaze contains the following, pts.wt: yellow lead 2-3; ground glass 2.5-3; ground malachite 2-3; quartz sand 4-5; borax 2-2.5; ground zircon 3-3.5. The glaze has frost resistance of not less than 100 cycles. Melting temperature is 1430-1470°C.
EFFECT: high frost resistance of the glaze.
