SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and compositions of ceramic mixtures which can be used to make floor tiles. The ceramic mixture for making floor tiles contains refractory clay, bentonite, bone ash, zinc oxide and ground alumina, with the following ratio of components, wt %: refractory clay - 87.0-88.0; bentonite - 2.0-3.0; bone ash - 4.0-6.0; zinc oxide - 1.0-2.0; ground alumina - 3.0-4.0.
EFFECT: high wear resistance of articles.
