FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method involves periodic measurements in time of displacements of border rocks in the controlled section of the mine working by means of measurement elements in the form of measurement points applied to the surface along the mine working outline relative to the base element; fixation of obtained results at the first measurement and their use as control values of counting of displacement of rocks relative to the base element at the next measurements; determination of the value and direction of offset of measurement points for the time interval between measurements and evaluation as per them of the state of border rocks around the mine working. A check point is established as the base element in mine working in direct visibility of all controlled measurement points and its installation coordinates are fixed. A laser beam generator is fixed at the check point, the laser beam of which is first oriented in horizontal plane along the mine working and its position is fixed. Then, the laser beam inclination angle is measured and aligned with the measurement point; length of laser beam and its inclination angle to the fixed position is measured, and they are used as control values at further measurements. In case of deviation of results from control measurements, value and direction of offset of the measurement points is determined for the time interval between measurements.
EFFECT: improving efficiency and reliability of determination of surface deformation of mine workings; reducing the time and labour input of the measurement process.
