DEVICE TO INPUT SIGHTING ANGLES AND INDICATE RANGE IN SIGHT FIELD OF VIEW Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC F41G1/16 

FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises lead screws 2, 3, a handwheel 6, a scale 4 of sighting angles with a fixator 9, a remote scale, a fixator 8 of a lead screw 3, a signal processing device 15, digital indicators 16, a lens 17, a coupling system 18 with an eyepiece and a sensor of a turn angle: a raster dial scale 13, an optical element 11, a membrane 12 and photodetectors 14. On the dial scale 13 there are optically transparent strips 20, which are concentrically arranged in sectors to form a binary code corresponding to sighting angles according to ballistics of one or more types of ammunition. The handwheel 6, the scale 4 of sighting angles, the remote scale 5 and the dial scale 13 are fixed on the lead scale 2. The lead screw 3 is placed inside the screw 2 along its longitudinal axis, makes a helical pair with it, and whenever the handwheel 6 is rotated, turns a tube 19 with cross hairs. During rotation of the handwheel 6 photodetectors 14 register a light beam passing through strips 20, generating information about angular position of the dial scale 13 in the binary code. The range value is displayed on digital indicators 16 and the lens 17, and is input into the eyepiece with the system 18.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of input of a sighting angle at the specified distance to a target.
