SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to combustiology, psychiatry, medical psychology and can be applied in treatment of thermal trauma. Psychosomatic state of burned patients is determined by 7 signs, which are evaluated in points, in case of absence of data on one of the signs, its point evaluation is equaled to 0. As patient's somatic state determined are burn area and depth, age, periods of burn disease, presence of accompanying pathology. As patient's psychic state determined are degree of alcohol intoxication or drug intoxication expression, presence of other psychic pathology. Estimation of severity of burn disease course is performed on the sum of points of patient's somatic and psychic state.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy of determination of course severity in all periods of burn disease due to objective assessment of psychosomatic state of patients with thermal trauma and taking into account syndrome of "mutual aggravation".
