FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: utilisation method of low-potential heat of waste water is implemented using a heat pump and an external heat exchanger arranged inside a hollow airlift column submerged into waste water. Zones of intensive formation of air-water mixture with adjustable lifting speed are created in the airlift column. The water that passed through the heat exchanger is supplied to the heat pump evaporator through the heater with an opposite heat carrier flow, for example water heated with the heat pump for hot water supply needs. Heat carrier that is partially cooled in the heater is supplied inside the airlift column to the formation zone of air-water mixture through an upward directed nozzle.

EFFECT: improvement of operating efficiency of the heat pump and final rise of water temperature in the heating system during winter season.
