SUBSTANCE: according to an example of this invention implementation, into a message sent with a transmitting mobile wireless device, a certain time is inserted to start the next active period of direct data transfer, so that devices could remain in the mode of consumed power saving in a channel of direct data transfer, until the specified time comes. Then before the next period of direct data transfer comes, the receiving device sends a start signal in accordance with the specified time indication, which reports that the next period of communication shall start. This serves as a confirmation for the transmitting device that a receiving device changed into the active mode, as a result of which the transmitting device may start data transfer into the receiving device along a channel of direct data transfer.

EFFECT: possibility to realise modes of operation with consumed power saving during direct data transfer between two mobile wireless devices in a BSS infrastructure.
