FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: communication method performed by a station (hereinafter – STA) includes stages of: receiving the first security phase before STA switching to a sleeping mode; while STA is in the sleeping mode, obtaining an awakening frame on WUR including a security field; determining the second security phase based on the received first security phase and received awakening frame; finding a match between the second security phase and a value of the awakening frame field; awakening STA based on determining the match.
EFFECT: energy-efficient and rapid detecting access point (AP) using awakening radio devices.
