FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and compositions of glaze for applying on ceramic tiles and glazed tiles. The mixture for making glaze contains the following, wt %: clay 0.5-1.0; kaolin 0.5-1.0; feldspar 30.0-34.0; quartz sand 41.0-42.5; zinc oxide 10.0-14.0; barium carbonate 1.0-1.5; borax 3.0-4.0; bone ash 7.0-9.0. The glaze has heat resistance of not less than 15 cycles (heating to 100°C in boiling water - cooling to 15°C in water). The glaze is cured at 1450°C.

EFFECT: high heat-resistance of the glaze.
