FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reactors intended for production of ammonia, particularly, to internal starting heater. Proposed device comprises several long electric heating elements extending along heater lengthwise axis and several heating element support plates each being composed of outer frame and parallel support bars with their opposite ends secured to said outer frame. Support bars are arranged in plane perpendicular to said lengthwise axis, between said heating elements and in contact therewith. Said support plates are arranged in a group with first and second plate. Note here that first plate support bars are arranged opposite second plate support bars.

EFFECT: resistance to stains creates by gas flow, higher efficiency.
