SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used during surgical interventions. To this end, a system is proposed for heating a support surface for a patient, comprising a first cushion element and at least one second cushion element. In this case, a cushion control unit for controlling the heat release by the heating element of the cushion element and at least one temperature sensor is integrated into each cushion element. Central control unit is also provided which sets the control units of the cushion elements to at least one predetermined temperature value. Each control unit of the cushion elements, based on the actual temperature value determined by the respective temperature sensor and the predetermined temperature setpoint, controls the heat output of the cushion element heating element. Also, the first of the at least two cushion elements have a first electrical connector for supplying at least the electrical energy required for the heating elements of the first cushion element and the second cushion element. There is also a second electrical connector to provide the electrical energy required for the second cushion element. Operating table with a supporting surface for the patient is proposed, which contains at least one first and one second transposable component and a system for heating the supporting surface.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides the function of rearranging the components of the supporting surface of the operating table, while providing adjustment of heat release in various areas of the supporting surface for the patient, which causes a high accuracy of the amount of heat desired when the patient gives heat to the patient; about faults, condition, actual and/or set temperature.
