SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Core box is assembled to house carcass and inserts and to be filled with core sand and slash. Core mix is compacted to make gas-escape channels. Mix hardened, core is withdrawn by detaching sidewalls. Core is transferred on pallet arranged in core box or glued thereto, secured at machine tool for core fives sides to be machined and finished. Said pallet is detached from core for sixth side to be finished. Pallet to be fitted in core box made framed, or with posts, or with cavities, or with tenons, or with recesses, or with holes, or with back layer. Pallet to be glued to single core withdrawn from core box has either fillet or cavities.

EFFECT: accelerated process.
