FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to salad compartment door locking systems. Aircraft door comprises locking system, latching system, interlocking system to prevent operation of latching system with door opened, locking control system, retainer to fix the door in open position, and drive system. Latching system comprises handle, first element to transfer handle motion to first gear, camshaft and, at least, one latching cam. In handle latched position, latching cam engages with latch pin while in handle unlatched position, said cam is disengaged from latch pin to allow the door to open. Interlocking system comprises striker plate arranged at aircraft airframe, plunger to get in contact with striker plate with door closed. Note here that plunger displaces into extended position with door opened and impedes motion of latching system.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
