SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of ceramic mixtures which can be used in making floor tiles. The ceramic mixture for making floor tiles contains the following components, wt %: clay 52.7-54.7; pegmatite 27.0-31.0; andesite 8.0-12.0; quartz sand 6.0-8.0; carboxymethyl cellulose 0.1-0.2; glycerol 0.1-0.2. In an alternative version of the invention, the ceramic mixture contains, wt %: clay 52.7-54.7; pegmatite 27.0-31.0; andesite 8.0-12.0; zircon 6.0-8.0; carboxymethyl cellulose 0.1-0.2; glycerol 0.1-0.2.

EFFECT: high scratch resistance of articles made from the ceramic mixture.
