SUBSTANCE: invention relates to handling machinery an may be used in replacement of running wheels of traveler balancing trolleys. Traveler trolley is mounted at extreme position opposite the side of balancing trolleys to be replaced. Wedge is fitted on crane rail under every wheel of said balancing trolleys on the side opposite that of replacement. Bottom section of said wedge has the guides embracing rail head while top section has a grade. Height of balancing trolley lift caused by running wheels head-on motion at said wedge equals flexure of traveler metal structure at resting upon any of the three points.

EFFECT: simplified design, higher safety, easier replacements.
