FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to waterworks and is intended for water intake from open water bodies and its filtration. Proposed filter comprises housing with pipe to be connected to offtake manifold, filtration elements, distributor, filter generator shaped to rectangular parallelepiped turned through 45 degrees with respect to horizon and having square ends. Its central part accommodates rectangular case with branch pipe arranged in symmetry about its bottom rib at its bottom. Filtration elements are composed by rectangular grates arranged on square carcass, said grates representing a welded slotted shield made from V-section wire. Filter regenerator consists of manifold with tubes connected thereto and located along filtration elements extending through housing end peripheral holes to embrace stiffness rings and be located opposite every rectangular grate, right at its center. Every tune has several conical nozzles turned to filtration elements surface.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of filtration.
