FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of intake capacity of an injection well, preparation and pumping through the injection well of a suspension of a silicate gel and extraction of oil through production wells. According to the invention, either a surface active substance (SAS), or a polymer, or mixture of SAS and polymer is pumped to the injection well. Pumping is performed with alternating fringes of the silicate gel suspension at concentration of 0.01-15 wt % and SAS or polymer or mixture of SAS and polymer. Fringe of the silicate gel suspension is pumped in a volume ratio to fringe of SAS or polymer or mixture of SAS and polymer (1÷5) to (5÷1), starting from maximum concentration of fringes at minimum pumping pressure with gradual reduction of concentration till the allowable pressure for a production string or productive formations are achieved. Concentrations of fringes are corrected depending on the change of the pumping pressure.

EFFECT: increasing the formation coverage efficiency by displacement owing to involving into the development of earlier non-covered low-permeability oil-saturated formation zones.
