FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in registration of electric high-frequency pulses near a power transmission line with the help of an electromagnet sensor and a connected digital oscillograph in case of line fly-around along the route. Measurement equipment is moved along the power transmission line route with the help of an automatically controlled small-size unmanned aircraft (UAC). In process of flight intensities of the magnetic field are measured with the help of sensors arranged at the ends of aircraft wings, the average value of field intensity is calculated Hav=(Hf+Ha)/2 and used for automatic maintenance of vertical arrangement of the aircraft relative to the power transmission line wires, acting at its elevation rudder. The aircraft position along the route is automatically maintained by acting at a fin, on the basis of the difference of measured intensities of the magnetic field. Measurement information and current coordinates of the aircraft produced with the help of GPS- or GLONASS-navigators are recorded into the memory of a portable computer arranged on a UAC.
EFFECT: reliability of navigation under conditions of high moisture of ambient air.
