FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method which facilitates wireless suppression of inter-cell interference on served use equipment (UE) involves transmitting a first link which is encoded by a first identifier from a base station to the served UE, which also receives an interfering second link which is encoded by a second identifier, from an interfering base station, in transmission of the second identifier from the base station to the served UE, in reception of in the base station of feedback sent from the serving UE and indicating the capacity of the UE to suppress one of the first and second links from the received signal, and in causing the base station to control the signal-to-noise ratio (SINR) in transmission of one of one of the first and second links, in response to the received feedback, wherein the served UE suppresses the second link when receiving at a high SINR, by decoding the second link using the second identifier, recoding the second link using the second identifier, suppressing the second link from the received signal and decoding the first link from the received signal by channel estimation.
EFFECT: improved network operation by interference reduction.
