SUBSTANCE: network node receives the result of the reference measurement performed by the measuring unit; and the reference measurement result comprises one or more interference components. Network node reduces at least one of the interfering components contained in the result of the reference measurement in order to ensure efficient measurement of the measuring unit by obtaining the compensation value to reduce at least one interference component and applying the compensation value to the result of the reference measurement to provide effective measurement.

EFFECT: improving of the efficient measurement of quality of a reference signal or power measurement of a reference signal in a cellular communication network.
