SUBSTANCE: present inventions group relates to methods for treatment of dogs suffering from digestive disorders as well as to a protein digestibility enhancement method. The method for protein digestibility enhancement with a dog in need thereof involves administration of a composition with dietary cation-anion balance (DCAB) within the range from nearly 100 to nearly -200 mEq. The method for treatment of dogs suffering from digestive disorders involves regulation of the balance of metabolisable cations and anions consumed by the dogs; the method may involve enhancement of fat digestibility with dogs by way of the composition administration to them, the composition having dietary cation-anion balance (DCAB) within the range from nearly +70 to nearly +200 mEq as well as enhancement of protein digestibility with dogs in need thereof by way of the composition administration to them, the composition having cation-anion balance (DCAB) within the range from nearly -100 to nearly -200 mEq.
EFFECT: proposed invention group usage will allow to treat dogs' digestive disorders as well as regulate protein digestibility.
