FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to barrier structures having time for determining breach upon penetration by chemical compounds which is longer than about an hour for hazardous chemical compounds, as well as articles made from such barrier structures. The barrier structure has a fluoropolymer layer and a polymer layer. The fluoropolymer layer has a main surface which is treated with corona discharge in the atmosphere of an organic gas. The fluoropolymer and polymer layers are formed by moulding, extrusion or shaping. The barrier material is meant for making protective covers, protective clothes and systems of protective envelopes.
EFFECT: obtaining a barrier material for making protective covers, protective clothes and systems of protective envelopes.
