FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composition contains the following substances, in wt %: carbon - 0.10-0.15, silicon - 0.17-0.37, manganese - 1.0-1.40, chromium - 0.10-0.30, lead - 0.10-0.25, sulfur - 0.02-0.04, nitrogen - 0.001-0.012, boron - 0.001-0.005, titanium - 0.020-0.040, nickel - 0.010-0.30, iron and unavoidable impurities making the rest. Steel contains following substances as said impurities, in wt %: copper - not over 0.25 and phosphorus - not over 0.030.
EFFECT: sufficiently high properties, lower costs.
