FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal gear-type pump includes gears located in bores of the housing and being engaged, channels of liquid supply to inter-teeth cavities of gears and dividers of suction and discharge cavities, which are fixed in the housing. Supply channels connecting the inter-teeth cavities of the gears to the suction cavity are made inside the hub of the gear and directed across its rotation axis. Dividers of suction and discharge cavities are installed so that they overlap intake holes of supply channels, which contact external walls of dividers.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention will allow avoiding the use of bladed centrifugal wheels in the design of a centrifugal gear-type pump, which will simplify the pump design and reduce labour intensity of its manufacture, as well as will increase volume efficiency owing to reducing leakages both through ends gaps, and through radial gaps.
