FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: method to model dynamics of aircraft flight includes formation of virtual 3D images of environmental objects and imitation of aircraft flight. Virtual 3D images of environmental objects are generated with the help of a visualisation system of a modelling complex equipped with an aircraft mockup. During imitation of aircraft flight the virtual 3D images of environmental objects are matched with actual objects of the aircraft mockup by means of control actions of a pilot. The modelling complex comprises an aircraft mockup with a pilot cabin, a visualisation system, a calculating unit with a software complex, an instructor's workplace with a control panel, power supply modules. The visualisation system is made as capable of generating virtual 3D images of environmental objects, determination of object dimensions, distance to objects, speed of their displacement and matching of virtual 3D images of environmental objects with actual objects of the aircraft mockup.

EFFECT: higher validity of flight display, efficiency and accuracy of piloting manoeuvres practicing by a pilot in process.
