FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: instrument has a cup-like housing with a wide neck, the top part of which narrows towards the neck. The neck of the housing can be curved-in on the outside and rounded at the bottom and simply curved-in on the outside without rounding. Along the narrowing part of the housing and the neck there are at least two cuts which separate these parts of the instrument into at least two acoustic elements, wherein two cuts of these at least two cuts lie opposite each other, while dividing the narrowing part of the housing with a neck curved-in on the outside and rounded at the bottom into two parts of approximately equal length, in a plan view; the surface between the outer and inner outlines of the neck which is curved-in on the outside and rounded at the bottom is either a fragment of a left-hand or a right-hand spiral, or fragments thereof directed opposite each other. The initial and end sections of the neck which is curved-in on the outside of each of the formed acoustic elements and sections of the neck which is curved-in on the outside at points of location of each of the two cuts have a different degree of rounding and lie at different levels on the height of the housing relative each other.
EFFECT: wide range of sounds and easier learning of playing the instrument.
