FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The composition contains a polymer matrix and an active ingredient distributed therein. The polymer matrix used is modified starch dissolved in water in amount of 0.5-2.5 wt %. The active ingredient used is nanoparticles of amorphous silicon dioxide in amount of 0.2-2 wt % and water-soluble compounds of elements Cu, Zn, Mg, Co, Fe, Mn, Se, Mo, B, N, P, K, S in amount of 12-14 wt %, with water making up the balance. The composition is applied onto seeds and plants. Presowing treatment of seeds is carried out with said composition in amount of 0.5-1.5 litres per ton of seeds. Top dressing is carried out with 1-2 litres per hectare with dilution to working concentrations.

EFFECT: invention increases yield of crops.
