SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to plant growing. Method of increasing survival rate and yield of winter rye includes operations of soil treatment, preparation of seeds for sowing, sowing of seeds, care of crops before and after wintering. Peas for grain are used as a precursor, before sowing, after autumn ploughing, the main mineral fertilizer is applied N115P45K45, pesticide-encrusted seeds are sown to depth of 3–4 cm with a seeding rate of 2.5 million units of germinating seeds per 1 ha. Seeds of winter rye hybrids ZU Forzetti, or Eterno, or Ravo are used as sowing material. Foliar application is represented by mineral fertilizers in chelated form Folirus Active, or Folirus Maxi, or Lebezol-Complete with the working fluid consumption rate of 300 l/ha. In autumn, during tillering phase, fertilizers are applied at rate of 2 l/ha provided that plants are preserved. In spring, at the stage of flag leaf development – beginning of ear formation, foliar application is repeated at rate of 3 l/ha. Preparation Arksoil KKR is treated at the same time and phase of plants development at rate of 0.15 l/ha.

EFFECT: invention provides higher yield, preserving large number of winter rye plants in autumn-winter period and increasing weight of 1,000 winter rye seeds, and obtaining environmentally safe products.
