FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions represents a flow method of road bed formation from pre-assembled transverse fragments of a road, realised in a multifunctional self-propelled road unit, comprising a section of road fragment formation from road slabs along width of the formed road with a robotic arm having grips in the form of vacuum suction caps and transporting elements. At the same time a layer of road slabs onto a road bed cushion is made in the form of a bridge crane, equipped with a grip made in the form of a row of vacuum suction caps fixed on a cross beam that moves in vertical plane, for displacement and laying of the formed road fragment.
EFFECT: invention promotes higher speed of road formation from prefabricated road slabs with their further joint grouting, higher universality of a self-propelled road unit, its higher efficiency with increased quality and reliability of operation, and also improvement of operating characteristics of a prefabricated road surface and its increased service life.
